An observer of the street

I’m a theatre and cinema graduate. My micro-scripts come from that and an exercise I’ve practiced since childhood: observing what happens in the streets and finding a beginning, a middle and an end to people’s stories.

In the theatre, I always say that my work has to “fit in the mouth.”. My dialogue with the city is the same thing: a spoken word that sounds clear.

I grew up in Vila Mariana and I’ve created a strong relationship with its streets, playing, when life was simpler and everything was safer. That’s why I like streets so much. If there’s a place to go in São Paulo, that place is the street!
